Can soups burn?
I've never actually tried, and the hoarder in me abhors the idea of wasting resources to test.

yes that's pretty much it, you can leave them on a counter instead of the fridge!
Easier to scoup some soup from the counter!

they don't spoil, can be deployed but they take up a pot. if you are low on pots, hit up flathill.

To add to what other people said, you can't move a soup once you've placed it down. So if you placed it on the floor, it will stay there until you empty it.

Or craft your own. You should have the recipe unlocked by the time you reach the level for making soups.

Just craft soup bowls to keep soup at.

wasting staplers to make pots ???? wow ...
Demonocolips Aug 28, 2024 @ 4:18pm
yeah staplers are a late game resource that, while you can trade fish fillets for them now, are still in short supply.
Prowler™ Aug 28, 2024 @ 4:24pm
Soup wont burn but it will be bad soup until you get the right ingredients lol
A good alternative is rice which is much easier to make in large amounts and after that you should be unlock a wrap type food which gives +50 combined to hunger/thirst

You won't need anything after that. Its really strong. :cherrypie:

Not really that big of a deal, now that Flathill has respawning Staplers.

Staplers used to be a very rare resource, nowadays not so much.

Most items that require Staplers are also items you only need to make once, except maybe for Shock Traps and Tripwire Mines.

Really not a problem to spend a few Staplers to make pots if you're low on them.

The stapler drought has been fixed recently between flathills respawns and fish trades.

Rebar's still a ♥♥♥♥♥ though.

I have no idea what you all are using staplers for, but I had enough for pots and stuff I needed before this fish was added. Plus you're suggesting relying on rng for a pot, which is not better than the obvious sure thing. Not like I'm suggesting making a chest full of crafted pots.

I'm pretty sure staplers always respawned in Flathills, people just felt like it wasn't enough. My point stands, the use of staplers is highly situational. I don't use them the way others seem to be using them, so I have "plenty" for pots.

They did, but now there are more Staplers to be found in Flathill.

But yes, I'm also not consuming that many Staplers either.

Yeah, the matrices gobble up staplers like nothing. I've been trying to build a lobby base that mostly uses laser turrets for defense and I'll have to spend some time fishing soon, just so I can trade filets for staplers.

I see, I don't really use those often. In fact, I skipped straight over shock traps. So I still have some staplers left over for other stuff like pots and what not. Maybe I'll get into using more laser oriented stuff.
