"Lab Rat" Health issue

I have this health issue for wearing the lab rat set but it doesn't specify what it actually does even though it's listed as a health issue. Anyone know?

Wearing a suit makes you hot. I think it is called stuffy suit.

From what I've heard, the rat suit is exactly the same as a regular hazmat suit save for aesthetically. So if I had to make an educated guess, it's the same debuff as stuffy suit, just renamed for theming.

OP is referring to the full set effect, not the base effect from wearing the Lab Rat suit.

I don't know what the effect is because I haven't managed to find the Pack yet, only the suit.

There is a guaranteed way to get the pack. Use a net launcher and then kill the rat with a blunt weapon while netted. I have about a 90% success rate with this, only time it doesn't work is it the fire damage from my mallet kills it.

So far all I've noticed is a slight green particle effect around my character when I'm wearing the set.

I think it's just a joke about being "lab rat" (test subject)

There is no known effect for the Lab Rat health issue, besides the partial effect visual. It seems like it is a just-for-fun status, which is tied to a game achievement.

As has been stated before, but just once more for good measure, Lab Rat set bonus makes funny green particles appear around you. There is no beneficial nor detrimental aspect to the set bonus.
