I need to find that, I need to test recipes for it and the only other source I know is a portal world with just 750 each reset which isn't even a full pot.
I drank it and seemed fine. Was hoping for some kind of effect, but got nothing, besides the basic 20 point gain in hydration.
Not sure if you can use it on plants though.
also any renevable source of barels ? (aka portalworlds ?)
As Dragontoast brought up, antejuice has double the hydration of regular water. You can see this most easily with a water bottle. A water bottle holds 1,000ml of both liquids, with clean water having 20 thirst fill, and antejuice having 40 thirst fill. These numbers can be verified via simply drinking it. From total dehydration, clean water fills about 20% of the thirst meter, and from total dehydration, antejuice fills about double the amount clean water does.
In other uses, antejuice seems to either have no effect, or isn't usable. In soups, antejuice has no clear impact on nutritional values. Making two split pea soups, one with clean water and the other antejuice, have the exact same values of 26 hunger fill and 28 thirst fill. These numbers are verifiable via consuming the soup from total starvation and dehydration.
Sadly, antejuice cannot be used for agriculture in any way. You cannot add antejuice to a farm plot, either with water currently in it, or an entirely empty plot.
If anyone has any other thoughts on how to apply antejuice, I won't mind testing them. But as it seems so far, antejuice is just doubled hydration water, and can be an easy source of "clean water" before the player discovers the recipe for the water filter.
Since you thirst for discussion: Antejuicecat the point of the game I found it in, effectively eliminates thirst needs, alone as a drink and as a soup ingredient. Which makes me concerned of devs nerfing it. But even then, the portal at the bottom of the lake takes you to an outcropping that, with a bit of parkour, leads to two water tanks for infinite water.
Way to be rude af for no reason. I was frankly glad he necro'd it as it had information I hadn't seen before. A week isn't a big deal. It's not like it's from 2016. Please be more reasonable in the future.
Gracias. This was actually the first post I found about antejuice when I searched for it so I didn't have to test it and accidently die after dealing with the crystal spiders and wandering the maze for what felt like a long time.
