Are some places only accessible via Exor heart

as thread mentioned - are some locked rooms only accessible via the random exor heart teleport or all rooms can be accessed through normal means/secret passages? I assume you don't need them but was curious.

I haven't ran into any Exor heart specific areas, at least not areas that were intended to be entered into eventually.

Usually places that require a Exor Heart are intentionally locked places, meant to be access after an update.

For regular gameplay, there is no need to use them. For trying to break into restricted areas, that is one method to glitch in to places one isn't supposed to.

No, or at least not currently.

People sometimes use them to break OOB, but that's going beyond the normal limits of the game and of course runs into unfinished areas.

Not for the intended content. But you can find a few interesting unfinished/prepared for later areas with it.

I've never had much luck getting it to work.

I'm guessing I've been too blatant with it, and keep getting bounced back via some function to prevent skipping things.

Jumping is key and reducing the possible "normal" locations by positioning yourself at the edge of the world.

tried with 4 hearts and a lot of throwing up and it hasn't teleported me through the door near the lift that goes to the residential tram yet is that just bad rng?

There are a few tricks to the heart. But yes, sometimes you need a few hearts. I usually stop after 8 and try a new location. Take anti radiation with you and a teleporter to get back if you get stuck. The heart seems to search for the nearest flat area. So try to be close to the ceiling when it ports you.
