Best soup recipe?
Title says all, really. I'm partial to the meaty stew for the sheer hunger fill and easy ingredients.

It really depends.

If going for ease for use, staying alive, and staying topped off for that Copasetic buff, low filling soups like Pest Goulash and Simple Tomato Soup are great. Not only does it make it easy to stay topped off without wasting fill effects, but they also give a Souper Satisfied effect which reduces your Hunger and Thirst needs for awhile.

If going for raw fill amounts and really easy to make, then yeah, Meaty Stew is really great since it can be done early on. Just have to stay hydrated.

That's not to say the 'lesser' soups are bad. Some of the Effects soups can be handy for grinding out XP on things. Sustenance Soup is a stupidly easy one to make and can be done mid way into the game. It can help with your Accuracy and Reloading skills. The fact that it doesn't fill as much kind of helps, since while in the field, you can keep your stats topped off at about the same time the XP bonus wears off.

If you just want to keep yourself fed, stick to the soups that are easy to make. Bland Pea Soup, Split Pea Soup, Pest Goulash, Meaty Stew, Simple Tomato Soup, Veggie Stew and Sustenance Soup are also super easy to make. To keep hunger and thirst balanced, you can make one Meaty Stew and one Bland Pea Soup (as an example).

If you want the bonuses, then you're gonna have to make the specific soups that grant you the specific bonuses you're looking for. Sustenance Soup for Accuracy/Reloading XP, Bland Pea Soup for Sprinting/Sneaking XP, etc.

I really liked the meat stew as well for ease of ingredients but I think once I really started farming, the cosmato salad wrap became my easy go-to.

Pest goulash is very easy to make and slows your drain, the only thing holding it back is needing salt, which you have to wait to respawn in anteverses to restock.

Meaty stew doesn't need salt, but you'll have to be hunting down both pests and peccaries. It also doesn't give the same drain reduction, but it does have a higher food value.

Water, 1 metal scrap, 1 silver. Best soup in the game.

How about THE KILLER SOUP!!
Just add Glass, Tech or Metal Scrap
It'll be fun to trick or force your friend to drink it.

There already is 'Killer Soup' (as listed in the game).

It is questionable that killing your friends is fun, and questionable on being able to trick them, since the stats are right there to see.

Yeah, I work with a guy who likes to troll his friends by team-killing them. Doesn't make sense to me if you actually want to have mutual fun. "Friends" seems to mean different things to different people, though.

Later in the game when you encounter higher-level enemies, my go-to is A&L Stew. All three ingredients can potentially be gotten from the same enemy (but not at the same time), but you might need to search a bit. I spend more time exploring that focusing on bonuses so a large fill soup is fine.

The best and correct answer is vegetable soup.

Veg soup. High hunger and thirst fill, and it's made from stuff that grows rapidly in your base. Frankly it's OP.

MRE soup. 1 thing turns into a multi day amount of food.
