Occult Oculus sequence bug

I broke the quest by killing the enemy in the lab by targeting it through the door before knowing how to get there. This gives you a diary which is needed later on. The issue is that once the quest tells you to get the diary, nothing happens. With the enemy already dead, the game doesn't register the book being in my inventory and thus I cannot contiue the quest.

I know this is my own fault for killing the quest target through the hideout door which was clearly not intended. Just wanted to make the devs aware of this bug however.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, I couldn't find any info on how to email the bug to the devs and I'd rather not it get burried in General Discussions.

So it's still a thing you can do ... Anyone knows if there is a way to fix it somehow ?
