Game Breaking Night Shift bug

It seems I have healed Mortimer in the 1st Chapter like many other people and now the Night Shift quest is bugged. The key to the morgue doesn't spawn and I am literally locked out of the various items, side qeusts, exp opportunity and stuff.

This means I wont be able to get the insulin in Cha[pter 6 aka this savefile is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ just because of these lazy devs who haven't fixed this important bug even after 2 weeks of the game release.

I am not sure if the devs even playtested this game before releasing.

there door to back of the morgue i think you go through just make sure you exit out the front door once to unlock it. and basement of morgue doesnt unlock until you explore/kill everything in building( dont remember were i fouind the key or if it opens up after i found what i needed on 1st and 2nd floor first) reed was able to get into morgue cause he needed ingredients for nurse dorthory to make meds she needed for patients.

Yes the thing is the patient was already healed by me in chapter 1. And the key to the basement doesn;t spawn for me. Its not just me, hundreds of other players have the same issue.

ah...hmm trying remember how it open for me err but yeah if so many ppl having problem with opening basement...hopefully devs would put key in invent through patch if ppl have quest in their logs.

probably stupid ideal but just incase go to invent and read all the notes/letters...maybe key in that way?

The quest is marked as completed with 3/4 objectives done.

the damn key could just stay there until we take it. 3/4 objectives checked, quest complete for me as well.
