So... what were conditions for Not Even Once achievement ?

1. I didn't embrace any citizen
2. I killed priest in Mary fight
3. I hypnotized Crane and killed her in her vampire form, but i read it shouldn't affect achievment
4. I made vampires from doctor, Sean and McCullum.
5. I let Aloysisus with his own death

In that guide https://www.trueachievements.com/a253448/not-even-once-achievement there is written what you shouldn't make vampire from McCullum and turn Aloysisus.
So can anyone confirm what everyone must stay alive, but not embraced or what was the trick ?

This information is clearly wrong since I turned both McCullum and Aloysisus into vampires and had multiple NPCs die in my first playthrough as well. Still got the 'Not Even Once' achievement and the good ending (I think). Didn't feed on the priest though, so I don't know if that matters.

Strange, but lots of guides said what priest death doesn't affect achievment too O_O Jeez, so many different opinions =(

I think you're safe as long as you haven't embraced any citizens duing your game. The 'Not even Once' achievement only require that you doesn't feed on any named NPCs, whether they die or not duing other circumstances should be irrelevant.

You will know for sure if you messed up or not when you talk to the horned demon right before the final boss fight, as it will say something like 'you're too weak to face the challange ahead because you have refused to feed on anyone'. If you get that line you're golden.

He said something what i am not ready yet for that... In the end i got euntral ending. So maybe priest killing during Mary fight spoiled that =(

Neutral ending, is that the one where they sail away on boat? (it was the one I got)

And yeah, it could sound like the priest might be the reason.. Either that or because you hypnotized Crane. There are contradicting information about both of those cases affecting the outcome of the achievement, but sadly I can't talk from personal experience since I got it in first try and choose a different option =/

I got ending where they left in castle under watch of Old Bridget and he was trying to completly cure her.

he said i was not prepared and i still got the achievement, haven't fed on anyone including the priest. forgot to save one dude from skals and had Crane turned into skal and killed.
turned Swansea and Aloysisus, let Sean drink my blood.

I got it with the following:
1. Priest spared during Mary fight
2. Made a deal with Dorothy. Didn't mesmerize her
3. Made vampires of: Swansea and Aloysius...they cost 5k exp
4. McCullum: didn't turn him
5. Sean spared

And ofc didn't embrace any of the named civilians.

I guess that rules out nurse Crane then.. Which seem to leave the priest as the common denominator for people who didn't recieve the achievement. So by the looks of it I would guess eating him nullifies 'Not Even Once'.

Hmm, as no one has found out if you can charm Aloysius instead of kill or turn him, I'll risk it and come back later, just turned McCullum, too, for good measure for this test..

I made a deal with Nurse Crane.
Turned Sean Hampton.
Charmed Aloysius into accepting death.
Didn't murder the priest during the Mary fight (clearly that would be killing an innocent).
Spared McCullum.
Let Swansea die.
And of course, didn't kill any townsfolk.

From what I understand, as long as you don't outright kill any NPC's (including the unconcious priest) you should be fine for the achievement. LETTING someone die (like with Aloysius or Swansea) won't affect it, as you're not killing them yourself. Turning them doesn't seem to be the same as killing.

As for the actual ending, it seems to be turning people that makes Ashbury see you as a friend instead of a lover. Because from what I've seen, people who've done the same as I have but who turned either McCullum or Swansea get Ashbury feeling betrayed (because you're giving in and making more vampires).

You shouldn't have killed the priest IMO. Just got the best ending yesterday (going to America).
I did the following:

1. I didn't embrace any citizen
2. I didn't kill priest in Mary fight
3. I spared Crane
4. I let Sean go and killed him and 3 others the next day when they went berserk
4. I made vampires from doctor and McCullum
5. I let Aloysius with his own death

I always treated every sick citizen and kept everything under control. No one died except for the mishap with the Docks and Sean because I didn't feed him my blood.
