I think that unless the devs have a really interesting additional story to tell, then time is a good factor because it allows to remake the game with new technologies, programming ideas, etc that can make the same game remade into the same, ye different/interesting game that players find worth it.
I hope for a Vampyr 2 also- be it a new, interesting story available in a few years.... or a remake of the same game with new tech done 15, 20 or more years in the future. All we can do is encourage the devs so they know this is the game they should remake.
