Checked the guide... it counted.
Luckly for the devs, the story got me too much, so i restarted the whole run and took the right choice this time.
An unexpectedly result
I feel you man... seriously, how could i understand that charming her means somehow "infecting" her ? That's really a dirty trick DX
I don't think i ever saw that neither in the tutorial or any collectable document i found.
In doctor Swanseas office lies a note which explains a little bit of how vampire abilities work (the charming ability is mentioned there.
Ah... i never checked Swansea's office for notes... guess that was my mistake then.
For the note please check Reids room too.
Well... guess i will, but at this point i don't think it's needed anymore since i restarted ^^"
In the aforementioned note (which can be found in Dr Swanseas office or Reeds room) it says if you charm a strong willed person (meaning their charm level is higher than yours) it is harder for the vampire to alter the mind of the victim.
In case of Dorothy; if you try to charm her, she tries to fight and resist mentally. Being a young Ekon with not much charm experience wrecked her mentally, that´s why she became crazy and eventually got bitten and infected.
I checked the archivement guide, and according to it, to get the "pacifist" archivement you gotta take the best choices that doesn't lead some characters to death (or transformation into enemies).
I'm pretty sure the guide said that, but if i'm wrong, i apologise.
