Issue with random target switching

Ive had no problems with this game up until this huge patch they released. The game just seem to switch targets completely randomly (pick someone completely behind me) making the combat completely unplayable. Is there any way to fix this or are they gonna keep updating the visual bugs instead?

might not work but try turning off the auto targeting in the game menu, you have to manual target after but it might stop the target jumping around until they fix this pernmentaly

I had the same issue, turning off auto targeting didn't help. Very frustrating when you're trying to kill one enemy and then suddenly start swinging at an enemy like 20 yards away.

The issue is actually that, for some ungodly reason, moving the mouse AT ALL is set to switch your target, and it's incredibly sensitive. No word on this getting fixed yet as far as I know, but believe me when I say that you can really get away with not using lock-on for most of the game. Don't be afraid to just turn it off unless you're specifically trying to hit someone with a ranged ability or ult.

Anyone reading this in 2025 and having the same problem: You can rebind the keys for switching your target. I put ALT and middle mouse button for mine because it felt natural, but you can use whatever keys.

I fixed the issue by only turning auto-switch off.
