how do we water the damn plant

There is a "water" item in the 4th district (so you cannot find it until late game), then 3 days after the plant has been watered, you can inspect it again to see the result :)

When you get access to the West End then in a store type building you will find the water then go water the plant and sleep 3 times and as mentioned above inspect the plant and it will be done. I think you get access to it as soon as Chapter 4.

I got the pure water and yet can’t water it

I have the same issue. I have got the pure water but still cannot water the plant.

Also, I got some articles before meeting Clarence Crossley. Now I am unable to complete the side mission as the previously collected articles are not updated. What should I do?
