The Sean Hampton Incident *Spoilers*
So when choosing what to do with Sean Hampton and reading the blue option "I will heal you through my blood". I figured it meant that you turn Sean back to being human. However, seeing how he wanted to keep helping the sewer Skal, I figured that as soon as he goes back to the sewers while being human, he will just get eaten by the Skal. To show you that even a good deed can lead to a misfurtune. So I chose the Spare option.
Turns out that if you spare him, he just goes crazy and the Docks community goes to ♥♥♥♥.
So I looked up what each option did, and it turns out that the "Turn" option just heals Sean's hunger for flesh, he remains a Skal, and everything is just fine.
I felt like I made the wrong choice, because one of the options wasn't clear enough. I'll be honest, it made me pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ angry and I turned off the game just then and there.
So am I just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded? Or did this happen to someone else as well?

no it says turn him, so i knew what it would do and i did it
and if you talk to him more or at lest read what he says hes been helping them for a lot longer then he was a skal

also why in the hell would your blood make him go back to human lol

I did the other two options and everything went bad so now I had start another run again and now I turned him and the district is fine for now so my no embrace run through is on going.

You just chose the wrong option because overthinked not because wasn't clear or even if It wasn't clear because in reality NOTHING is clear but you just made up that thing of "Vampire blood convert Skalls to Human again" It didn't happen to me and if It happen to someone else I doubt is because they though the cure to being skall is vampire blood.

It seems to be that I always make the wrong decisions in this game.

First I wanted to help Lady Ashbury. So I decided that nurse Crane should forget about the blackmail. The result was that she forgot everything else, too. Then she turned and the district with her...

After that experience I wanted to make the right decision about Sean Hampton. This time I thought it would be better not to use the vampyr skills. (After it went so terrible wrong the last time.)
I mean it rly sounded like he can deal with it or without any help. But now Sean is crazy and the only thing I can do is to kill him.

This game is so frustrating. Of course you don't have your own save files... So the only option for me is to start a new game or to keep playing with this :DSTpoop:

Hopefully I will have more luck with the next choice...

in sean case only true option is turn him, cause killing him would destory the distict and leaving him to his own devices would cause him to go crazy in the end (this would happen cause he would ended up transforming into an skall fully; most current turned skalls are violent/mad/no logical thoughts) reed had resently learned from old bridget that vampire blood is blessing to skalls so turning(siring) sean would actaully cure him of the newly(current) skall traits.

See on this i have to agree with you, up until the point with Crane, hints and extra conversation lines have been positive and rewarded, then with her its a bloody mess. So its very confusing and missleading. Bad design in my opinion. Can't blame you for thinking using the blue option with Sean would be bad too.

its almost like thats what they were going for to keep you guessing i call it GREAT design(not like other lazy devs) this game should be played 2-3 times ezy

In regards to the Nurse Crane option, its more of "Reid doesn't fully understand his powers" and tells her to forget everything... causing her to forget everything. The dialogue option is deliberately vague, in my opinion, to cause you to second-guess every other vampire power option instead of using it as a "this will solve every problem" button.

For Sean, I believe there are a few lore pickups prior to the choice telling you that ekon blood cures skals. They can be easily missed and its kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that there is not a more... showy way of handling it.

I quit after dealing with Crane because the wording of the choices are so bad in the context of how they were talking, I made the decision to charm her since it sounded like it would only make her forget about the blackmail but keep helping people which is what I wanted. I thought sparing would make her resign from helping people.

Neither option did what I thought would happen, I felt tricked. I looked it up and other people said this same thing happened to them. Then I read about the choice with Sean and it sounded just as bad so I stopped playing

I made the exact same "bad" choices (hell, I figured they ALL would be bad in their own way). The setting is super GrimDark to begin with.

None of your choices break the game, and they're all interesting in their own right. It changes who else is left alive in the neighborhoods, and conversations with the inhabitants.

I really like it, but then I am used to this sort of nightmare world setting to begin with, being a Penny Dreadful & Taboo fan.

I wouldn't mind if people die because of the decision I make but when the choice I make is nothing like I thought it would be, it's not fun. The wording of the choices is misleading

thats the idea :steamhappy:
There's some hints as to what might happen if you read all the books/docs scattered around, but I think theyre trying to emulate you just not *knowing* what might happen. At the beginning for example, you really have no idea of the connection between Skals and Vamps. nor do you realize that there might be something "special" about you that might be able to fix things.
I'm planning on playing again now that I *know* the lore and "science", but no way I'm doing this until they have Storyteller mode released. The game got super annoying as far as the respawning enemies everywhere.
