mercy/embrace (possible spoilers)

Hello Everyone,

i just reached the point where i met this guy Clay, and i had 2 options: embrace or mercy. I found this a bit confusing: what happends when you embrace someone? does it mean that you kill them? or do they turn into a vampire?

I felt the game was a little unclear on this and the autosave thing is not very helpful for experimenting so i hope that people dont mind me asking about it.

Embrace means to drink their blood and kill them. Mercy is to release them.

ah in that case i will let them live... it would be boring to kill people :D

Additionally, if you want to kill Clay (and boy do I want to kill Clay personally), you can wait until later, unlock some hints for him and get more XP when you finally do it.
