Vampyr
Do mods exist for this game?
Just curious... I'm kinda tired of the 'murder for power, or suffer as a saint' style vampires... It's like nobody who designed this heard of the concept of taking a drink without killing someone, even though there are other hints in-game that other vampires are capable of exactly that, for some reason only 'you' are incapable of drinking for power without killing your prey?

Just... kinda hoping to fix that. XD otherwise, I'm liable to fix it my own way... Cause it's also kinda dumb that if you don't murder for power, you'll inevitably run into enemies that can one-shot you because they're 15 levels above you.

You mean cheats I assume? They do exist, however, any cheat that alters experience in any way is countered and your character's level is set to 0 thus preventing you from being able to level up any of the abilities. There are things like god mode, infinite ammo. stamina and the like that won't trigger adverse effects, but ya still gotta earn xp the normal way in game.

Back when this title first released however there was a bug that existed where you could hover over a power and hold P I believe and your xp would just keep going up as you held the button down, but that was patched out of the game. So if you can find an unpatched client of this title then the bug would still be intact.
I'm not particularly interested in 'hard cheating', you know, infinite 'anything', i don't want invincibility, just a little less '♥♥♥♥ you nice guy, there's no logical middle ground for 'your' character' XD

And I 'did' notice that... but I noticed a different trait to it actually. If you edit your XP, nothing happens, but if you spend more XP than what would've already taken you to '0', it will sortof 'infest' your current XP total, and if you undo it, you end up at 0, but if you only put in the XP in 'small' ammounts, just enough for the smaller upgrades that tend to cost like, 3 or 6 hundred, then it seems to stick to your current level instead of backfiring, just don't 'undo' or it'll bug out.

I was honestly just hoping to throw in a few extra thousand to even the playing field, not stack the deck in my favor... just less stacking 'out' of my favor because I don't want to kill people and have to pretend that this 'genius surgeon' wouldn't be smart enough to know 'opening mouth stops blood-sucking' until there's non left.

You can download the glitched exp savegame from Nexus Mods. The author glitched a save pre-patch, normal mode, at the first safehouse and there's enough in the exp pool to max everything if you want. If you don't want to max everything, then just use as needed. The save will work on the updated game.
oh, thanks, that sounds so much easier! :D ... I can't say I like the 'maxed out XP' part of it, but honestly, I also like the exercise of choosing not to abuse that advantage and just trying to balance things out :D

uh... just one question... where do I put the save game?... Since windows is so 'tight' on security of downloaded game files, I had to 'learn' how to open security enough to just 'look' at them...
