(Spoilers) About Mary...

So in the prologue, the player character brutally murders his sister. He then spends the next two chapters crying and feeling remorseful for said actions. Then, he discovers that his sister is actually alive but is now a fellow vampire. Seems like the only appropriate thing to do would be to...immediatelly kill her again? WTF??

You aren't even given a choice, in a game that's supposed to be all about you making impactful choices. Sure, you can choose to spare the insane cannibal Skal, but your own sister? Nuh uh. No choice given, just a cutscene where Jonathan kills her(again) and mopes some more.

Mary hasn't the Blood of hate, She just didn't want to become a vampire and the thirst made her do all of that like if She was living a nightmare.

Are you sure? Did you see lot of female vampire in game? I only see only one normal female vampire, but only because saved by her father, she said she was crazy and madness long, ago in past, I see too many male, but rare female, it's only logic based what I read in the game, all add up.

Not exactly. Female vampires, just like male vampires, are only corrupted if they are affected by the virus of the blood queen which causes the "Blood of Hate".
E.g. when Elisabeth was first turned by William Marshall she was fine and not infected by the virus. She only got the virus when she was later on bitten by William Marshall (after he was infected in his fight against the blood queen in 1666).

Because Jonathan isn't a host of the virus, Mary wasn't infected when she was bitten by him. It's possible that she got infected by the virus later on (while she roamed the city), but that's just speculation.

Nah, she doesn't try to turn her - she wants to embrace her. Which she actually does, if you have killed some citizens.

He could just knock her out or wound her so badly that she has to regenerate and then imprison her somewhere till he finds the cure. Which is like 3 chapters later.

You did realize that he didn't found a cure for being a vampire (he wasn't even able to cure Elisabeth virus), but that he was only able to stop the epidemic?

His sister would still be imprisoned in your solution.

He did find a cure for hate blood or whatever it was called. So yeah she still would be vampire but without killing spree's just like Jonathan and Elisabeth.

That Mary is infected by the virus is just a speculation. There's no evidence that this is the case. For all we know she isn't infected by the Blood of Hate, because Jonathan wasn't infected by it when he turned her.

Fair enough. Still feels weird that man of science didn't try to quarantine her and do tests , and try help her since his remorse was driving power for the first few chapters. It gets even weirder when you are not a pacifist. She killed few people , you killed few people both are vampires this is to be expected.

Jonathan said Mary was very sweet women, so it's could be blood of hate cause her enemies of Jonathan, otherwise, Jonathan and Mary wouldn't fight each other as Mary would be still sweet even she is vampire unless Jonathan is wrong, she wasn't sweet but playing fake sweet woman, it's just too many proof ingame since not lot of female vampire/or crazy one unless cured (I'm not talking about cure of vampire but rather madness or virus, but it's more likely she seach jonathan but happen bit and drain skul virus, but who know.

Even if She was sweet woman that means nothing, when Jonathan and she converted both had the urge to drink blood, You as a character can choose for Jonathan being a a good vampire and not drink or be a murderer that kill and drink everyone even if Jonathan was good before being turned vampire, but Mary is not your Choice, She was converted and as Jonathan she had no master (As Lady Ashbury had) so She maybe has less force of will than Jonathan and SHe succumbed to the thirst and when She tasted it She knew the exctasy effect (That is shown in some papers across the game) and then as a drug She couldn't stop and now has a mental breakdown because She didn't want to be evil but now HAVE to because of the thirst and blame his brother because ALL of it.

No matter how you look at it, she did have a death wish. If it wasn't Jonathan, she would've killed herself, taking others with her. I do understand why you'd like a choice though, it's that I would make one the game made for you.

She was sweet back when Jonathan knew her, before the war and before he left for france. Just a recap of what happend to her since Jonathan left england:

- The family father left the family and commited suicide
- London was bombed over and over gain due to the war
- She lost her only child due to the flu
- She believed she lost her brother
- She was killed by her own brother
- She turned into a vampire - and had to dig herself out of her grave and kill someone.
- Her mother already lost her mind after she had to bury the last member of her family

Do you really think she was still the same girl that Jonathan knew?
