There hasn't been a patch yet, but hopefully when they do, it will address the boundary loading stutters.

Hi dude, you're not alone! Perhaps better if we use the following previous thread for reporting Stuttering and FPS drops issue: https://steamcommunity.com/app/427290/discussions/0/1696049513762606136

Balance your rig, a 1080 ti and only 8gb of RAM is terrible I hope your not running an i3 as well.

lol, 8gb is fine for 99% of games out there and will not be an issue in this game.

Doesn't change the fact your rig is still unbalanced. If you have some stuff running in the background 8gb of RAM could very well be the issue.

Also, why don't you monitor your CPU/GPU/RAM usage with afterburner to see what is actually causing FPS drops instead of saying it's not something without even testing it.

for the last 10 hours i saw more than 40+ comments with different pcs than mine
balanced unbalanced it doesnt change the fact that the game needs to be patched.

The thing is most people are talking about stuttering while loading new areas not dramatic FPS drops.

Take the time to see what is going on with YOUR rig instead of just sitting around and waiting for a patch that might or might not fix YOUR issue.

Not to mention the tread you are talking about the OP says it's only dropping 2-3 fps, not really dramatic.

8Gb is fine if all you do is have the game open, and like, nothing else...
But some people (like me) are habitual resource hogs. Meaning they have two different browsers open, aida64 open, gpuz open, desktop gadgets running, av stuff, msi-ab and RTSS, sound managers, router apps... the list just goes on.
Means I can easily get up to 4.6Gb usage before I even open the game lol.

just waiting
i know the source of the problem is coming from them not me.

lmao how ignorant some of these people in this thread, it doesnt matter if op have 8gb ram or 16 gb, the game itself is not even using more than 4.5 gb of ram. The game still need patches, I'm tired of having frame drops whenever I go to other area, its like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'s watch dog again. There/s even some fps drop whenever you activate the vampyr vision.

You talk of stuttering, OP talks about dramatically dropping frames.

Sure I get the stuttering from streaming in new areas but a dramatic drop in FPS is something else and with a few things opened in the background 8gb of RAM could be the limitation.

There are like 10 different people in the thread with stuttering issues(not dramatic FPS drops) and almost 8k playing the game.

Not a you and issue I guess, it's always easier to blame someone else.

i dont think that a game like vampyr can be something that my pc cant run smoothely
i have a lot of games, for me they are heavier than vampyr and i can run them without a single problem. far cry 5 , just cause 3 , battlefield 1 , the witcher 3 , etc...
the problem is from the game not me

My 8700k/1080 ti rig and my 1600/1080 ti rig, both with 16gb of RAM do not have any dramatic FPS drops at 4k max settings with no AA running at 60fps. It will dipped down to 55fps with AA also maxed in some places.

Not saying 100% it's a RAM issue, but if I sure as hell have an issue I will find out what it is and not sit on my hands and just wait for patches. Other games you can play from AAA studios means very little.

If you are indeed having dramatic FPS drops and not just stutters it's very easy to pin point the issue just by watching your usages during gameplay with an OSD like afterburner.
