Chapter 5 Usher TallTree pressure plate puzzle

Does anyone know the soltuion to this? ive tried all sorts of combinations but not sure what these do.

I figured stepping on the plates as they get darker would work. I guess not, maybe its bugged or theres a quest behind it.

Unless you’re glitching through walls like some of us did without knowing how to properly get it, you may have to wait till Chapter Six to finally obtain it.

It’s a very long process that starts with not reading the diary you retrieve for him and scouring every note in the game for the six required clues.

Here’s how to do it correctly without collecting every note for the answer.

You’ve to step on four plates with symbols; fish/circle/square/diamond

The order is:
Fish-Circle-Square-Circle-Fish-Diamond

Be sure to allow the plates to stop moving completely before moving on to the next

Sorry about that mate, was being cheeky. There’s numerous Brotherhood hints at an ultimate weapon, it’s the “True Dragonsbane” sword.

It is, even the description claims that while there are many copies, the DLC is the “True” one. It’s not.
This one is literally named “True Dragonsbane” as opposed to the dlcs “Dragonsbane”.

DLC weapon = Fake Dragonbane.
Puzzle weapon = True Dragonbane

You're either completely wrong, or there are multiple combinations, because yours does not work.

I don’t know of anyone finding other combinations, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was random. If that’s the case, you may need to collect every note for the order. Just be sure to allow the pillars to stop moving completely before moving onto the next.
