I tend to go with the saw and knife/gun. Autophagy, max Coagulation, max Shadow Mist. Abyss or Blood Cauldron. Heavy on stamina and health.

If only it buff the first attack at least
Still good for clearing weaker mobs though. Blood Cauldron's not bad for AOE if you can get them to bunch up.
dang, i didn't know that killing Vicar in Mary fight = 1 kill T_T
I notice that using a knife to get blood is more effective than stun with stake and bite
The thing with stun + bite is that you have to spec heavily into it to make it work well, and while you're staking you're not doing much damage. With a knife you just stab away and get blood immediately.
You'd think a stake could make somebody bleed too, but I guess Reid's stabbing with the blunt end?
This time, i decided to main Mist instead, Coagulate and Heal 1 points, Surgical Knife mainhand, Liston offhand, DLC Handgun Lvl 4 Liston knife Mary funeral sucks 20 blood / shot and deal around 50 damage to Melee Resistors :D
Don't really have enough xp to max both Mist and Spear, I think I'll just drop Spear and get the lower branch Veil for escape / engage at 0 Blood cost l and get Blood Cauldron
Misting groups and bosses Gunning Shadows resistors feel much better ^ ^
I ran into the Darby Scarf bug, coz i skipped the dialogue, so gonna keep the scarp til i got all
the hints and buy from Usher. Will get the Swan hint after funeral too
Playing up to finding Sean Hampton at the Dock now. Struggled with the Flame Thrower boss a bit without Stun and Bite from the Stake, coz that Heal Blood and Safety from damage while recovering stamina was nice last play. Learn to play out of his range and Mist him to death instead of going for him head on.
After this run, I'll prolly still play no Embrace but let all Pillars die / turn to Skals and see if all the districts collapse with 2 handed Stun Bite Spring, thinking about Bleed Top Claw so I don't need to Stun Bite all the times, dunno Blood Shield is better than Coagulate
Maybe the Bleeding Claw is better with Surgical Knife and not 2 handed weapons? well next play ^
