If I accept his resignation idea and the £100, will he disappear at some point in the game?

He says he will resign when the influenza is gone, is what he says, but will it ever be during the game? Or is just for the plot and doesn't impact the game?

I just want to embrace him, so if he suddenly disappears when the district gets healthy or some bollocks, that will be a major disappointment.

It doesn't impact the game.

So he'll still be diligently trying to save London from the flu epidemic when you suddenly kill him and leave his drained corpse in a storage room and make off with his keys :(

He doesn't disappear unless you turn the district hostile before eating him.
