Recommend speccing in stamina. Melee weapon attacks take stamina, as does dodging. You'll be doing a lot of both.
You run faster if you're not targetting anything.
The world changes when you sleep. So if a citizen is in danger or district is about to fall from sickness, take care of that before sleeping if you are so inclined. Enemies also respawn if you sleep.
Consumables like bullets and health serums don't respawn with you if you die. So if you depend on guns and fail a few times, you can have 0 bullets and 0 serums going into a boss fight.
It's an autosave system, but you can make backups by going into the save directory.
"best ending" that´s a matter of taste, I ate alot of people and I liked the ending I got. I quite enjoyed how some of the stuff turned out as I was playing from munching on select people, the game is pretty reactive to how you choose to play in that regard.
Theres some very interesting interactions going on between NPC´s esp if your naughty.
The game is exellently written no matter if you choose to play "good" or "bad" vampire.
OFC you can only see so many of them on any given playthrough as eating to many people will make the district go down the drain and you can´t see how remaining NPC`s in that area reacts to what you did.
( you can bite -HOSTILE- people in combat it doesn´t matter , just be mindfull eating NPC`s you can talk to has consequenses)
as for combat as mentioned pump stam, as long as you got that you can make any "build" work I think.
edit. added the -hostile- to clarify since as sheppard pointed out belowt here is an exeption I forgot about.
Good catch btw. (man that would suck for anyone trying to do a clean run accidentaly messing up on that, slightly trolly game design since it autosaves lol but I think you can just loose the fight if you did it by misstake or just kill the game process , I don´t think it saves until after the fight but I´m not 100% sure so don´t take my word for it)
