Problems With Main Character

I see what you were going for with his hair/facial hair, but you're kind of missing the mark. There are a few features I feel would add credibility to the main character's existing image. Before I weigh in, I'd like to clarify my assumption that you're going for a 2017 trendy aesthetic in a 1920's setting. I've never read a romance novel, but I feel like that realm and fanfiction are probably where this sort of thing flies..hits warp VIII even. Anyways, here are a few things that I feel would add to the hair/neckbeard combo you're going for:

1. Flanel
2. E-cigarette
3. Fidget Spinner
4. Large retro sunglasses from the 90's
5. Men's Romper (recent pop culture makes this work well)
6. Big arms and tiny legs (due to impractical gym goals)

Somehow (and I wont even try to explain; leaving this up to your imagination) this reminds me of when McDonald's and Sprite decided to exclusively cast African-Americans for all of their marketing. I will say though, you nailed the recent cultural shift of hipsters and bros blending into one cocktail of people without personal identity..guy looks spot-on with just the haircut and beard alone--the wardrobe just needs work.

Idea for your next project: Think lankey weak-armed samurai wearing 2XL t-shirts, with high fades, atleast 3 fake gold chains, baseball caps without bent brims, and tattoos in olde english that have nothing to do with their real lives beyond the ones that read "420" and "Blaze Up". Throw in the cheapest polymer gun on the market and you've got yourself a winning combination, with a damn-fine story to tell. A game like this would make its money back in week 1 on Northeast Ohio alone.

Edit: I also like how you spelled Vampire with a Y instead of an I. Totally lit, fam.
Edit 2: I'm having too much fun with this. Let me quote the store page for a moment:

"London, 1918. You are newly-turned Vampyr Dr. Jonathan Reid. As a doctor, you must find a cure to save the city’s flu-ravaged citizens. As a Vampyr, you are cursed to feed on those you vowed to heal."

While the style of shirt he's wearing in the trailer was invented in the late 1800's, they didn't begin to look even remotely like his until the late 1900's. So with the hair, beard, and shirt, I'm pretty sure the twist to this game's plot is that the main character is actually a time traveler from 2017 (hard enough to follow a Vampire story after the last decade of human culture). If anyone who reads this plays the game to the end, let me know if I pegged it.

Edit 3: I can't help myself. I have to go back one more time to the synopsis.

Imagine you're a literary publisher, or rather, you're in a position to make decisions on aquisitions for one such company. A man schedules a meeting with you to present his work. He comes into your office, and once you get down to his pitch, this is what he has to say. Wait let's stop right there. For dramatic purposes, let's take it away from books and imagine that you work for SciFi and the guy wants this to be a show on your network, among the likes of Sharknado, Sharktopus, etc.. How..do you even react after hearing this synopsis? For me, any beverage I may have been drinking at the time will be nebulized and slowly falling to my desk. The laugh would be so hearty, that throughout its sincere deployment, you would swear it were fake. I would subsequently cough so hard that multiple drops of pee would exit my body. I may even shart if my bowels weren't having a good day, I might lose control of my legs, and collapse to my side, rolling back and forth. The idea would be so hillarious to me, that I know my reaction to it would be damning, and culminate in having to file for a restraining order against the man who in nervousness and confidence, unveiled to me what he felt was his masterpiece. This idea is so bad, that my natural reaction to it would create the world's next Hitler, and everyone of my ethnicity would be in mortal danger of his wrath.

Its not hating. First we got sparkling vampires that loves drama with highschool girls for no aparent reason. Now we've got a vampire with a millenial haircut and gluten free diet that only needs his vape to be the complete douchebag.
