I passed the game 4 years ago and now I passed, I watched all the videos, but I didn't understand how the main character got infected, please explain.

Resident Evil logic: Essentially Frank is an untouchable god throughout the story as far as the story is concerned. Anything you do between story points is not taken into account no matter how many times you got bit. Its just that at some point somewhere Frank got infected when going between locations for the games story. That's it really.....

Late Post but the cutscene that introduces the queens, Frank is stung by it therefore infecting him, he just has a very high immunity to it so he lasted the 3 days without "Zombrex"
He got infected by covid

I always thought it had something to do with the cutscene where Carlito (I think, been awhile) shoots a zombie near Frank and they make a point to show the blood getting all over his face, including his mouth and eye I believe. And I think a cutscene not long after has Jessie point out that he's covered in blood and he wipes it off.

It's been awhile and I'm not saying this is THE answer, I just remember the scenes seeming to focus on this blood enough for me to notice and wonder.

Frank gets bitten and covered in blood all the time. It would be strange if he DIDN'T get infected.

I always thought that it was because of how many times Frank will likely get bit throughout gameplay, but that kinda fall apart when I realize that Chuck (The main character of the second game) can get bit plenty of time too but he never seems to get infected.

I'm guessing it has to do with either Frank getting stung during the intro to queens, and/or maybe the blood splatter from a zombie before fight Carlito with a sniper like other people here have mentioned. Or maybe Franks plot armour is not as strong as Chucks.

the only that could to this is when the dijua's helicopter and the zombie there is about to bite him but doesnt and that makes him somehow infected. hopefully ive given a clue as to how the hell frank is infected.

What was the point in frank getting infected if they were going to cure him immediately in his next appearance in a main game?

Different developers.
Is he completely cured in DR4? Haven't played it. But he did have to find Zombrex in Case West and Off the Record, so his infection played a role there.

I think he got infected near the star of the game. In a cut scene Brad shoots a zombie in the head and it looks like some of the blood gets into Franks mouth.

Game expects that up to that point you had been bit at least once. Turning into a zombie takes time at this point in the story. Time or death while infected. If you never got anywhere close to bit the handwavy explanation is either the blood getting on Frank or the queen bee stinging him take your pick.

In the fourth one, it's like they forgot all about him being infected.

GG, Vancouver.
It's game logic.
In zombie games you can get bitten a hundred times and be ok but if it happens during a cutscene then you get infected.
It's like in an action game like Uncharted, you get shot all the time but are fine unless the story needs you to be actually hurt.
