Game Doesn't Start?
I press play and nothing happens. Any ideas why?

I've got the same problem! My steam client says running when I click the play button, within one second it is syncing and it stops running the game, I can't see the application in the task manager.

I have the same problem and the support is basically refusing to help after two months of waiting. And no, I'm not going to reformat my computer just because of this stupid waste of money.

Yes of course your not it is a stupid waste of money that you have spend 29 hours playing already

Why is it the developers fault YOU have done something to your pc that has changed the way your pc uses the sim

I've find the problem!!! Go to propeties > Local Files > Browse Local Files > _ComomonRedist > vcredist > 2015, run one of the EXE files to install VC Redist. Then restart the computer and run the game and the shipping application in the bin directory as admin, and the game finally starts!!!

Thanks for viewing my profile. The only reason I bought this is because of Denuvo protection. The only reason I played it is because there is no other coach driving simulation. No force feedback on my Logitech DFGT since day 1, no improvement in AI and sound. Unless they really made a big change since mid-July.

Since day one I have had lots of changes and patches so I don't know why you have not have you opt in to the betas

you are running on VERY low settings tbh. In game menu try turning settings down and shadows off

Dude, I can't even start the game. Steam shows that I'm in the game for a few seconds and resets my status to Online while nothing happens on my screen. When I start it from the folder, I get the 0xc00007b error.

I followed all your pieces of advice and already considered asking for refund and forget the game, BUT I didn't notice I forgot to install DirectX 11 on my new PC! now the game finally started, it's always worth to fight until the end
