We will fix this issue in upcoming updates.
Yes I have followed that guide to the full extent
In my opinion that's kinda weird, cause I have no respons at all in Fernbus, and with all my other driving games I have no error at all
Yeah well I've done all of that already, played with it, and it was fine..
But after the so called 'hotfix' the settings menu return the string: "Some of your input devices [blah blah]" and the sliders (which visually show what the status of your pedals/steering is) are all in the middle.
Again as I stated before, if you decide to build a game around vehicles with a steering wheel, make sure the game actually recognises top notch hardware, and in particular all the new hardware. This is really frustrating
I totally agree, I had the same problem with my T500RS. After downloading it 3 times after critical crashes which verifying game cache made no difference. I gave it up as a bad joke and will wait until the game is actually player friendly and wheels work without needing to watch videos to learn something which should be very basic in a driving game.
Why on earth they would make it so complex setting up a wheel is beyond me when every other driving game I have played actually do support a steering wheel, unlike Fernbus. Surely the developers must have played driving games themselves. Just take a look at ETS2, takes about 2 minutes to set up a wheel and no need to watch videos explaining how to do it. Can't imagine driving a bus is any more complex than driving a truck.
Never seen that message before in any other driving game and I have the latest driver and my wheel works in every other driving game I play.
In my opinion, this game is in public Beta at the moment and players are being asked for feedback because of that. I expect some things to need updating when a game is first released but for a driving game to have so many problems for so many people setting up wheels is ridiculous.
And I restarted my PC, restarted the game, unplugged and replugged the wheel USB cable, updated wheel drivers. Nothing works.
Okay, I'll try that whenever the patch is downloaded
