How do they feel to drive?
Any other sim you would compare them too?
Fernbus uses UE4 and look at it, it doesn't look good and runs very poorly. Maybe BS18 devs are more compentent so lets hope they will use the engine better.
Think of Bus Simulator 16 but with UE4 graphics, much improved FFB physics. Much larger map. Other buses driving on the routes and giving you a friendly flash of headlights as they go past.
anyway as this is the Fernbus forum and they have their own Bus Simulator in developmet I will refrain from any more posts.
I've already tried the bypass of Fernbus even after I bought it because I was testing something. Still runs like crap like it does now, even on a legit copy.
On another note, Denuvo, though not in all cases, can cause its own issues with performance. Just look up various news stories when it was found that devs are implementing it so stupidly that the DRM is making hundreds of thousands of calls per second while playing a game. This is very rare, but has happened.
Still Alive Studios I'm still just keeping an eye on. I did like Bus Sim 16, I found it a fairly decent game for what its worth. The AI is no better than Fernbus, though at least in there they don't gridlock themselves so easily unlike in Fernbus where if you have 40% traffic, it will gridlock eventually leaving you stranded.
I'm not pleased with their switch to UE4 where I found their work on Unity was pretty well-done for what its worth. But, I will wait until I can at least try for myself before I hold a final opinion. But at the moment, their inclusion of Denuvo has already lessened its value to me, as a gamer, by at least 50%, so it'll probably be some time before I consider picking it up.
Those servers don't last forever. Nor do companies.
Nor do humans, and been reading these kind of doom and gloom quotes for the last 10 years or so.
