The Developers promised us Bus and Map making tools at the release of the game. It's been a very long time since they promised, but they only continue pumping out one bus DLC that cost almost as much as the full game. It's an unhealthy business practice and it's really dissapointing that the only promising Coach simulator is released with one bus and one country and a few small add-ons. It would be much better to raise the game price by a bit but include atleast some of the buses. Imagine if you had to buy every truck in ETS 2?

Hi there,

the modding tools are still in development and the closed beta test of these modding tools has shown, that the tools require more features and better usability. So, we will continue to develop the modding tools until they are ready.

Kind regards

Some tales are based on facts.

check out the game's specification for what you're saying is not real. Currently, work is underway on bus physics and game optimization. There will be many new maps as well as buses, minibuses. Mod tools will be released when we release THE BUS
I understand all of this but the base game only has ONE BUS with TWO VERSIONS. Your reply is therefore unfairly criticising my question on this forum.

@Captain Obvious
Yes, we dare. And if we tell you that the modding tools are still in development and aren't ready for public release it's a fact. If we were to release the modding tools tomorrow you would NOT find them satisfying in their abilities and ease of use. So, what do want? Unfinished, buggy, and messy modding tools or polished, user-friendly, bug-free modding tools?

We're just a small team of 10 developers and there isn't always time to further develop the modding tools as continuously as some people the community would like to. It's just the fact of running a business and having to pay salaries, rents and taxes.

Yes, we made a promise. Yes, we couldn't make it a reality in a reasonable time. Yes, it will take some more time.

Kind regards

You actually paid for the game itself, not the modding tool, and you got the game with several free DLC's, don't you? Modding is a feature we announced, yes, but sometimes things don't go according to plan. And the size of the team does play into such things if you like it or not. Sorry this answer is not satisfying to you, but it is what it is

With such a small team, it would be plain stupid to waste resources on making manual gear, the busses in the game dont have manual gear.
And yes i do have a shifter, but i only use it in omsi 2 in busses with manual gear and in cars with manual gears in racing games.

Again busses there are in the game do not have manual gear.
You might as well want them to be atomic powered, and can drive 400 km/h. AND fly.

@Marcin2677, you know S..., they have not said that there will be manual gear in 2020, they have said they are looking into it.

I do not try to have manual gear, so dont say ALL. @Marcin2677.
I dont want them to wast time on manual gear. They should fix bugs, make the mod tools, and new stuff. Not some FICTION, as manual gear.

So how are things going? Have they fixed anything over the years other than paid DLCs? I think the answer is obvious - No. It would be better if they made a manual transmission, at least some sense.
