Game doesn't load after Splash screen

Help?! anyone else having these issues? I searched on the forums seems its a common issue with some.


Game loads up the splash screen and then just dissappears. I've installed all the redist items in the steam folder and still nothing.

I had the same issue. Just restart or shut down your computer then reboot it, should work fine, hope it works :)

to me, after the splash screen then nothing. I thought the antivirus, but nothing. I do not know where do I find news and forums

Yup, PhysX dirver can be messed up. And the game simply doesn't loads. My advice in this situations: uninstall any PhysX driver, reboot the system, donwload the latest version from nVidia and reboot again. It happne sonly WFC, since FOC and ROFDS uses Havok.

Some games has a splash scren: show up till it loads a picture. Size, design and art are various - mostly Unreal engine games has.

Hmmm mine brings up the loading window then crashes out with no error. I have an AMD Radeon R9 280X card, so not Nvidia. Drivers are up to date too.

Tried rebooting. Uninistalling/Re-installing. Running in compatibility mode. Running as Administrator. Disable AV software.

Using Windows 8.1 64Bit

Any ideas?

And with that.... fixed. Updated Physix software even though I don't have an nvidia card... now it loads lol

Also had this problem.
It appears something reinstall physx to some ages old version, so nothing worked.

2560x1440 is the resolution setting found in the graphic options of the game. If you have not gotten even that far as to set it, then that is probably not the issue. Head over to C:-->My copmputer-->Program files-->Steam-->Steam apps-->common-->Tranformers war for cybertron-->binaries, in there you will find the TWOC applications. exe file (the file with the transformer face), right click that and send it to the taskbar, now you will have the icon on your taskbar along with what ever other programs you have there. Now clcik the icon and start the game, it will load and you will see prime, then it will shrink down the taskbar as a large rectangle with the transformer icon on it, double or triple click this, it shoud go full screen, keep clicking till it enlarges to full screen. type back to let me if this worked.

Hmm.
If it is stuck at the optimus logo when the game starts up, I doubt that is the issue.
It could be physx, a radeon graphics card issue, or many other reasons, and my guide should fix most of those, if not, then it's something else to do with your hardware/software in windows itself, or what ever type of pc you have, such as if you have a mac, or if you have ubuntu or some other reason and the software on it could be causing conflicts if it's windows or other, as well as the hardware limit could be an issue, or hardware type.

As long as you know your pc is compatibe, and can handle the game, as well as tried everything in my guide, then you know it's something else, and possibly what I mentioned above. As my guide will give you everything that you need to make it work.

With this trick I got this to work. Adding you to my list.
