Difficulty launching game

Hello! I'm having trouble with the game minimizing and staying minimized despite several different monitor resolutions. Yes, I've tried restarting, verified local game files, and made sure drivers are up to date.
When I launch the game I see the various logos (like Unreal engine, etc) and then it just minimizes itself. When I click on it in the task bar it flashes up, I can see "New Game" but then it just minimizes itself again.

Thoughts?

As it turns out, I may have figured it out. I wanted to play the game on a big TV instead of a normal monitor. It would appear that the TV, while advertised as being 1920X1080, actually had a native resolution of 1680X1050. This resolution appears to have upset the game in some fashion. Resetting the tv to more reasonable resolutions did *not* resolve it, but swapping to a different monitor seems to have taken care of it. Very strange, so, I hope that helps.
