Yup. They're making a VR version but I'm not sure if it will be an Update, DLC or a new version of the game. Pancake is worth buying regardless

Disclosure: I was a Kickstarter backer

There are very few games that I feel like are just meant for VR and this is one of them. Just gotta make sure my headset has no light leak to break the immersion . This will be as awesome as the first time I saw a tornado is Solaris Project.

I would love to play this properly in VR. The current version of the game supports VR kind of on Oculus. Doesn't work that well though. In fact I have to stop the Oculus Service to play the game in 2D.

How well does the game works in VR currently. The Main Menu is messed up. Basically start the game from the menu before wearing the headset. Once in the game the view appears to work OK but it appears to be center tapped. Your height will be about as tall as the dolls. Not sure if that would cause problems or not. Anything that would appear at the bottom on the screen appears to be cut off in the view. Meaning you will have to know the interface to play.

If this is true, I look forward to the VR version of this game. I am also looking forward to a future similar VR title "Blind". Hopefully I'll have two interesting echolocation VR games in the future.

I would love it to be a free update but will accept a VR DLC price <= $10.

Game already works in VR. Just add "-vr" in launch options. Just beware there are several issues with the VR build, including the menus not rendering well.
