Game Crash in Chapter 3
Don't read if you don't want spoilers (mild ones, but still)

Hey devs, got a little problem and I don't know what's causing it. In Chapter 3, after running away from the doll with the gun, up the stairs and into the side room to dodge the other doll, there's three rooms next to each other. i'm able to get through the first two rooms without issue. The third room, with the doll pointing to the door is fine until I try to open the door out into the hall. This is when the game freezes completely and crashes. I'm trying to find a way around that route without getting shot, but I would still like to know if you guys are able to do anything for it? Thanks.

BTW, dolls with guns is a nice touch. Dolls are creepy enough as is. Why not give them a deadly weapon to boot?

Hi BluePrince21,
I just reported it. Thanks for letting us know

And yeah, Poppets are like super creepy. Thanks :-)

Hey Blue,

Sorry you had this issue. I have looked into it and we both never saw this and are not able to repro it. :( Seems you might be the lucky winner of a rare bug.

BUT, the good news is that you should be able to avoid the poppet without ducking into that room. I would recommend that once you get upstairs, take a right and hug the wall that is straight ahead of you and avoid the poppet there. Then go into the bedroom that is in the nook you'll find if you hug that wall.

I'd be more than happy to hope on Skype or GChat with you to show you what I mean.
For some reason, my audio completely gave out when I got to this part, and I can't seem to get it back.
I was playing with headphones, but now I can't get any sound, with or without them.
I have also tried validating the integrity of the game files, and no issues there.
Do you know if anyone else has experienced this? I have looked through the discussions for audio issues and can't find none.
Without sound, it doesn't really make sense to continue playing the game, what, now i'm blind and deaf? lol
Maybe i'll try deleting and re-downloading, but if there's anything you else think might help, that'd be greatly apperciatied.

I did have missing sound once (loaded the game and no sound) but it was fixed by exiting and restarting the game.

You could try verifying the game cache, this will check to see if anything is missing and download it (much the same as deleting and reinstalling would).

Please read next time before answering. Thanks.
