Game won't launch on Windows 11

I don't know why my game will not launch anymore, especially since yesterday morning it was fine. All of a sudden, last night it would not launch and I have done everything that Steam Support recommends... I have even tried reading through the previous discussion where it wouldn't launch on Windows 10. I have tried all of it and it remains unplayable. For some reason I press play and it shows that it loads, it shows "PAUSE" and then "loading 100%" on the side, but then never launches and the button goes back to "PLAY". When I turn on cloud save, on the side a little cloud with an exclamation mark appears next to the title in the left hand column, but when I turn it off everything is the same, just without the cloud error icon. I am truly stumped, is anyone having the same issue?
