DLC 2 missing nome

I see from the discussions that there's a lot of bugs and this is yet another coal room bug. There were three nomes that I need to help me push the coal cart. One of them got glitched out by the coal pit edge, wouldn't move and could not be interacted with. I tried restarting a checkpoint and now he is simply gone completely. The two other ones are there following me, the conveyor belts are moving, but the third nome is simple gone. Not in the coal pit, just nowhere, so it's legit gamebreaking bug because reloading checkpoint did not help. Tried both manually and by just dying, and he's forever gone.

It's hard to remember, but I think I had some weirdness around there and it just fixed itself the next time I ran the game. Did you try anything outside the game, like restarting your computer or verifying integrity of game files in Steam?
