Game halting bug in DLC3 - final area with old women

-SPOILERS-
After the old women breaks the mirror with her scream im having an issue where the door in front of me does not open so i cannot progress. I tried restarting the game, at no avail. any ideas?

The door isn't supposed to open, that's not how you progress through it.

Unless there's more than one scene where she breaks a mirror, all the video walkthroughs show you slip through a crack in the door and the door doesn't open.

If you go to 26:20 in the video you added, she shatters the glass then he starts going right the door is open. That door for me was closed / wont open after she shatters the mirror

I'm having exactly the same problem, and resorted to Youtube to see what should happen. Other videos show the same as above, but I still find the door still closed after the screech and shattered mirror moment, yet I've done everything (I think) in all of the other rooms already ...

Before this glitch happened to me I had been able to proceed through the door but the women never takes me like the video shows, nothing happened so i restarted my checkpoint and got the door being closed

~ I just replayed the chapter, didn't do anything different, but the door opened this time around. It's a pain going past the shadow kids again but it worked!

The same bug happened to me about now. The first time I arrived at this point the door opened, but then I died and had to restart to the last save point and that's where the bug showed. It's like they didn't planed the fact that people could die during this part of the game. I saw other people stuck at the exact same place on Reddit dated from a months ago. And there is also some people talking about that in 2018, sad they didn't corrected the situation after such time.

Few years down the line, this is still a problem - you have to just restart the whole chapter - which is not as long as you think, but annoying.
