It's quite difficult to answer your question because the purpose of the game is to actually play with childhood fears and being in an oversized environnement is a recurring one.
The game uses this as a setting. That being said, Six is a normal child, it's not a gnome, and elf or something. The residents of the Maw are monsters or kind of and consequently they just have to be big.

The game now has a release date! You will be able to unveil all the mysteries of the Maw and help Six to survive it on April 28th!
Regarding the duration of the game, it's estimated to 5 hours minimum and up to 8 if you explore more.

by the way i realize i may be quite late in coming with this suggestion but one of my favorite things in video games are 3d modell viewers wich some games use as unlockables and some games even go as far as to have a empty room you can view with the enemy walkiung around in sort of its own litle pet box where you can test reactions and see how different creatures react i realize its very late in production and it may even be completely finished but i would realy love this sort of feature even if it is near impossible to implement

Thank you but for this great idea but this idea comes indeed too late. For a realease on April 28th, Tarsier Studios has already working on the the polishing of the game and it's not possible to thnik about adding features.

Why is the release date not displayed anywhere on the store page?

It's indeed a bug that we are still looking to fix with Steam team.

Which kind of preorder? If it is a Steam preorder, which I think it is, then the game should be in your library right now with no button to play or install it. For consoles or the physical pc copy I have no idea how to help you apart from saying to contact the devs.

The game is going to be released on April 28th (this week!)
If you already preordered the game, you should see it in your library.

So this a confirmed explanation stating that she is indeed human? Along with the "monsters" in this game i think their are way too many humans.
