I am just going to pretend t was a different Nome and that the kid was one of the ones at the end of Six’s story that waits at the bottom of the stairs
I liked the Runaway, and I didn’t like that ending for him. So I will believe my own version. It is never shown he IS the one eaten, so I am free to pretend what I want lol
Going through everything he did just to die sucks. Yea sure it is supposed to be sad and life isn’t al happy ending, but the fact we liked the Kid enough to dislike what happened to him meant they did the DLCs right. We were rooting for him, we wanted him to survive
I liked the kid a ton more than I liked Six. A lot of people stated they hated Six after what she did to the Nome, and now they make us attached to that Nome? It isn’t helping the appeal of their main character
I would have rathered the other bad ending, he winds up a Nome and trapped. It is not a happy ending, he isn’t free or escapes, it is just less bad
I think it is natural to be upset or annoyed when a character you liked gets killed off. I guess I got more attached to him and wanted to see him succeed than others did, where he was apparently just a character to get over puzzles
I'm not saying I wanted a happy ending (nor was I really expecting one considering this is Little Nightmares). I'm just saying the ending wasn't worth everything I went through in the Residence (those shadow children can go to Hell, lol). Of course it was extremely sad, but I had a feeling from the beginning that this kid had either been caught or turned into a Nome. I suppose it's the fact that he had to be a Nome that DIED that made me so angry. It kinda made me feel like, "well, that was pointless", cos we had been playing as someone who would never be free.
Do we know that there will be more?
I always saw it from the perspective of just some random kid on the maw and kind of expected their journey to be in vain like the rest of the kids who tried to escape. The DLCs were basically meant to show a mini sidestory basically about what happens to most of the kids on the Maw.
I did, however, not like how after he walked into the room where he gets eaten, he just paces around casually. That looked kind of dumb and sort of broke the mood. I think it would have made more sense if he did something like sitting curled up in a corner, feeling clearly upset at his current situation instead of casually standing around carelessly.
Actually the comics show that she was brought to the Maw by The Ferryman[. Also, when did the game say that Six was the Giesha's daughter? Its a good thing you said, but Six isn't the Lady's Daughter. Not canonically.
To me its that Six was raised in the outside world, and that hungers lies in her veins, like the Guests. After all, weren't they children once?
