3rd DLC - WHEN? a lot of questions

Both DLCs did not answer a single question, which I've had after complete the main story!
Who is Six? Why does she has a Lighter? How did she get there? How did all of those kids get there? Where do they come from? OK. Comic answered me. Thx.
Hunger? What 'bout it? Japanese Lady? Who was she? Cooks? Like as Disproportional Thing-man they all wearin' a human Skin. AM I RIGHT? What are They? Cooks use the Skin of their guests. I think so.

Not a single drop in the LORE. We have drowned levels. OK. We had the Monster on it. OK.

What else? Gnomes? What about 'em? THEY LOVE HUGS. OK. It's very cute... NOT FOR THIS TITLE! Or... We had to Burn 'em in the furnace - it could be Braincrackin'!

The second one answered way more than you think it did. Pay attention to their shadows near the end. They have the shadows of children, revealing what nomes truely are. The first one didn't reveal much, but it did show that the Janitor didn't seem to have completely malicious intent. The granny literally came out of nowhere though.

I think it's a bit more literal than symbolic, though it's not ENTIRELY literal. There is something to do with mirrors warping the forms of people and who they were in the comics, which would explain some of the characters being shaped in strange ways.

I don't understand why players should need an explanation to begin with. What is intriguing about this game is that you don't know certain things and lots of lore details should remain unexplained in my opinion. This is a bad habit of these last years, we were spoiled by games (and their fandom) that make the lore a strong point of their narrative. And, in general as humans, we do not feel at ease if we don't know something. But we must look at it from another perspective.

Anyway you can understand a lot by paying attention to the aforementioned details, and so is for the DLCs. The rest is left to our imagination. It's a narrative choice. Is a symbolic or litteral plot? Who knows, every player can imagine what s/he wants. There are lots of games and movies like this.

What I like about this game is that it being open to interpretation doesn't mean it has no story that we have to make ourselves, rather there IS a story present that we have to really think on to find out what's really going on. I like those kinds of stories. So far Little Nightmares is seemingly less confusing than a game like INSIDE, as it does have some things explained on the website, in the comics, etc, though the backstory is still mysterious and confusing.

In the comic it shows that she used to be in the outside world, and that she was brought to the Maw by the Ferryman[a character that doesn't appear in the game]
The lighter, she either got it in the suitcase she was placed in, or she have always had it, and was just brought iin with it.
The Guests have always been ravenous hungry monsters, even before they entered the Maw, yes they eat the flesh of children, but they also eat fish, cheese, and even drink wine, the skinny children could not feed all those hungry guests.
Six must have that appietite because she was from the outside, where everyone was a gluttonous, monstrous being, who wanted their stomachs full.
The Janitor is to clean out the filth of everything, and wraps the children up to send to the chefs.
