Fatal game error

When i want to start a new game i get this error and the game closed.

I read several pages and i see this is old problem. If there is no fix right now i will refund the money and to buy something other until they fix it.

I have the same problem and I think my "old" CPU (AMD Phenom II X4 955) doesn't support the required SSE4.2 instruction set. Which by the way is laughable and shouldn't be a requirement at all to run the game, as it already runs until you try to start a new game.

Can anybody share their system information to verify if the unsupported SSE4.2 instruction set might the cause of our problem?

I've had the fatal eror been waiting for ages for them to fix this issue.

They did state at one point that is was a AMD issue, but I don't have AMD, I have nvidia card but still suffer the Fatal Error issue.

I'd refund if possible as it doesnt look as though they are going to issue a fix any time soon. Sad really as I was really enjoying this game.

It is not only an AMD issue. Older Intel processors without SSE4.2 instruction set will also not work.

I wrote about a workaround here[steamcommunity.com], which unfortunately is not very satisfying and the game definitely needs a patch to remove the requirement for the SSE4.2 instruction set.

I refund for the game and if they fixed this problem i will buy it again. I read some comment on GOG where people asked the same question and some guy answer developers are not interested to fix this problem i do not know is this true but some of comment for this problem are already older of several months. That only can tell us they are not interested :(
Game looks like just which i love to play and i already think to buy DLC, unfortunately i do not know how long i will wait to play this game...

Guys, don't bother asking. This has been an issue since day one and they have said nothing about the matter. I doubt they will ever fix it so I highly recommend getting a refund.

If you goto 'Help' at the top of your Steam page, then 'System Information', you can copy and paste most (if not all) the info the devs would need to look into the issue. But yes, get a refund in the mean time until the devs bother to help.

Verify game files via Steam Libary

I have the same problem right now. I get on, then I wait for it to load and then it crashes when I start a new game

I have the same problem when I start the game. I followed the instructions in cmd "sde -attach-pid xxxx" but returned a "Failed to allocate Injector, Error = INJECTOR_ERR_NO_ACTIVE_SERVER, Pin is existing due to fatal error."
Is there a solution or fix? I see that many other users have the same problem.

Ah ok but the firrst thing you guys should try is to verify the game files.......right click this game in your steam libary...click properties.......click local files,,,,,,then click on verify the game files........let it finish then close Steam and restart the game.
