Comic Canceled?
So supposedly, according to the support team over at Comixology, where the digital copies of the Little nightmare comics are being sold, the comic is canceled after Issue #2. (Issue #3 has been removed entirely from the website as well, and my preorder money for it refunded)

I'm hoping to get a Dev's opinion on this, because that's rather sad, i was really looking forward to learning more about the world!

mostly i'm wanting to know if we can expect some other lore-building/revealing media to look into instead of comics, or if issue #2 and #3 were perhaps combined, or if the comics are just going to suddenly cut off in a cliff hanger, never to be resolved

i don't know, i'm hoping a Dev responds

issue #2 comes out on the 26th of July, but it looks like no more after that
I might be a bit late to the party but just noticed that too and I'm equally as surprised. It's hard to imagine that they would cancel it just like that, as it was designed to be just a 4-part story and the game itself is fairly popular.

While we are at the matter... I've seen this floating around.

I have no idea how legit this is at all but it has twice as many pages as the normal comic and it has the same illustators/writer as in the issue#3 originally. Maybe their plan is to put the last two issues into the same book? Maybe? Hopefully?

Interesting, I haven't seen that yet.

Perhaps they decided to just do a book instead, but hopefully they come here and answer some of this for us.

I'm interested in this situation too, I'll follow the topic.

I don't think it was canceled, but delayed. I recently found a site that is offering preorders for issue #3 and it gives a date of 12-06-2017. The only reason I think they would delay the comic is story/lore spoilers that tie in with the recent DLC (the Hideaway).
Here's a like to the site page I found: https://www.badasscollectibles.com/index.aspx?pageid=2539005&prodid=17438001&gs=1

This thread is a few years old now I know, but I thought I should say my thoughts about this?
I think the most likely reason for cancellation was because of the DLC, maybe the comics were going to reveal something about the world that ended up getting revealed in the DLC. Because when the comics first came out, Tarsier had not planned for a DLC, but then the game got popular enough to warrant them making one. I wander if there was something lore wise they wanted to reveal in the comics, but then decided to instead reveal it in the comics. I mean they were both coming out at similar times. Whether this is true or not I'm not sure, I just find it to be the most likely reason.

I also remember hearing a rumour that the artist or something couldn't continue working on it due to health, but I can't remember where I heard this from so there is no telling if this is true or not.

It's definitely a shame that this series wasn't continued, but on the bright side at least we got the DLC and Little Nightmares 2 which is coming out later this year, so maybe we'll find out more about the world through that game.

Tarsier have been making the DLC before the comics released. The DLC contain things that were originally going to be part of the main game but didn't make the cut on final release. All this stuff was planned from the start.

The likely reason for cancellation is the planned TV show which they haven't said much about. It will be written by the same people who made the games and henry selick (guy who did movies like coraline and such) will be working on it a bit.
