DLC Help, stuck at a crank near water (DLC spoilers)

So DLC released today, yay! Mild spoilers for it ahead! But I got stuck at the part where you turn the crank to bring up the body bag near the hook. I've tried hopping across to the bag to grab it, i've tried to aim for the hand visible as well. I've tried partially bringing it up and trying to climb the rope, I've also tried holding it in place to build up pressure.

Nothing seems to work and every time I fall in the water, the Granny grabs me as there is no way to go back to the ground once you hit the water here. Any help would be appreciated!

I crank up he bag until it is about level with me, leap and grab the ropes on it

I swing over and grab the hook, and use the hook to swing over again and just keep going.

I am trying to remember the exact set up, need to see the scene again to remember but I know you swing off the hook

There is the bridge there with the tub and fish heads right? Afterward you swing off the hook?

Ah! I was cranking the bag until I couldnt anymore and i think that's why I couldnt grab into it! I managed to actually grab onto it with your suggestion though! Thank you!
