The thing is this.... having great hardware is not the end all be all to pc gaming... A person must know wtf they are doing with said hardware. Many people run a dirty OS.. never properly clean drivers between installs etc etc and have a borked regristry.

A good majority of issues are on the user end.

Yeah, sure. But if WB pulls out a game from the stores cause it was broken, it sure had other problems

Yeah I heard that.. I bought it on launch though and had no problems. The biggest issues were it using up lots of vram etc and since most gamers are gaming with 2 and 3gb toasters they had to pull the game and do a little more optimizing so vram usage would settle down a bit.

Quantum Break is another example : it couldn't even stay at 60 fps on a 980 ti when it was on the windows store

The entire way that they game was launched was a fail from the very start. Something to do with the way it ran through MS store.

I saw other people on Youtube having no problems with it. But since the majority had problems with the game, I prefer waiting patches than risk having a malfunctioning product

The majority never really have sufficient rigs either..... I mean I can google and find problems with anything but it doesnt mean its always the games fault.

The game was pulled and vram related stuff was optimized a bit better for folks with lower end gpus.

I'm basing mostly on Digital Foundry videos. They seem to know what they talk about

And they were also testing with a gtx 960 and an amd 380........... as I said, insufficient setups.

And a 970.... but thats really a 3.5gb gpu with a crippled 512mb section.

Those with 6gb and up were fine.

Well, good to know! I'm always too much careful when I spend money, so if I read that the game has some problems I'd rather wait and play something else in the meantime
