I'm reviewing your post and I see two instances of the term "fanboy". I'm partial to utilizing car analogies so I, personally, would translate the above paragraphs to an individual walking into a (pick your brand) dealership and asking a salesperson "I owned year XX of model YY and it was horrible. How are they now? And I'm not interested in the opinion of someone who currently owns model YY and is enjoying the experience". Are you open to information that may not line up with your current views or will said information be immediately designated as "fanboy" feedback? An initial reading seems to indicate that you have your mind made up on this matter based on the overall tone (as best as can be determined by text of course), regardless of any changes to the specific game mechanics that are noted. Thus I'm confused at what you are attempting to achieve in requesting input. In these sorts of discussions I typically allow the aggrieved party to have the last words, so feel free to 'let loose', as it were.
I got that far into your comment, realized you were a fanboy, & then quit reading. Congrats on writing that novel for nothing.
If you're simping for Wolcen you're simply delusional, & attempting to debate the issue with a Wolcen simp is the equivalent of attempting to debate the topic of evolutionary biology w/ a young earth creationist. Complete waste of time.
Reply if you want to. I won't read nor entertain it.
* To my knowledge, most nodes were fixed. Although based on some topics, there are still a few nodes that aren't working a 100%
• Is scaling dmg via ailment stacking still the only viable way to efficiently play the end-game?
* No. However, there are still only a few builds that feel powerful in lategame whereas most builds just tend to break even in terms of power. They never really become face-meltingly powerful.
• Are the Apocalyptic forms still nothing more than a flashy meme that serves no purpose outside of sticking a free resurrect on a party member?
* Yes, unfortunately.
Bad manners and this thread will not be productive.
What I came here for was useful information, much like Squidcake right above you offered. What I didn't come here for was to entertain whining Wolcen simps such as yourself who cry about facts which make the game you simp for look bad.
And Squidcake's comment was very productive.
Thanks for the reply.
I found this hybrid mage build yesterday & saw that it wasn't wholly relying on ailment stack scaling, so I decided to reinstall & give the game another honest chance. This build seems to be miles ahead of everything else, for better or worse. Hopefully the Wolcen response isn't to kill the build, but rather bring other skill mechanics/interactions up to par with this one. I'll link the build below just in case anyone is interested.

An expected response.
Played this game more than a year ago, I just randomly checked in.
Quite rich to have every review and almost every post on Steam hysterically complaining about games and insulting other players over opinions( "FACTS!!!") on video games and then call others "whiners"
Yeah, Squidcake was productive, you're not.
He asked for the state of the game, got a helpful answer. What have you done in this topic, and how did you contribute to the topic ? He's right, you literally came to whine and nothing else. Wolcen forum at its finest.
It's honestly strange how simping for Wolcen can completely warp someone's ability to think & reason.
- The dude came here to contribute nothing but his own tears while complaining about productivity in the thread. Hypocrisy at it's finest.
- The dude genuinely doesn't know the difference between a fact & an opinion. It's not my opinion that the game had a laundry list of severe issues at launch, it's a fact (also a fact that the select few issues listed in my OP existed). It's not my opinion that literally ~99% of the game's playerbase abandoned the game in response to those issues, it's a fact.
Wolcen simps should be considered for study by a team of psychiatrists.
I don't pretend to be curious and I don't recall portraying my statements as inquiry unlike OP, so it's irrelevant if I'm contributing productively or not.
I was stating how the OP themselves does nothing BUT whine in every review and every post, yet complains that other people are whining. I personally don't care about whining in itself whatsoever
They wouldn't complain that people are whining if they didn't whine. Is whining exclusive to Wolcen fanboys and their bitterness ? Those who are not fanboys can also whine (about the fanboys' whining).
Like i said, you didn't contribute to the topic, you came here to vent. What for ? The OP already got his question answered. All your spam is irrelevant.
You can put the puzzle together yourself, you can take it as a fun forum minigame :P
Check the message that has been marked by op as answer to his question.
