What I did was on Gate of Fates:
01) I selected all projectile bounce options. Avoid pierce because if they pierce they do not bounce.
02) Chose all skill cool down options.
03) Chose all rage increase options.
04) The rest would be your choice.
I went primarily the Agility route as the dominant and tried to balance the other three. With Agility you fire off your arrows faster and more often. Combine that with bounce and you can wipe out mobs pretty fast.... depending on your bow damage of course.
End game (after the story) minor and major bosses will be your biggest issue. It will require a lot of dancing and skill usage.
In short, I would dual-wield Pistols instead. They fire very very fast and thus generate a ton of Rage quickly. In fact they fire so fast they almost certainly out damage an equivalent Bow. And you will have 6 gem slots to play with.
Finally, while I appreciate that you are concerned with the aesthetic of the bow skills, it has to be said that Havoc Orb is probably the best ranged skill in the game.
Stings should be also good but not as strong as the other skills you got, and you can also play with the Phantom Blades (you can duplicate them, their charges are seperated) to help you clearing the trashes.
A bow dps wise is as good as a pistol, so yeah you're losing some attack speed and crit when going with a bow instead of dual pistol or other setup. But if it's funnier for you to play with a bow then go on, in some way it'll be stronger to play a lot with a bow than getting bored quickly with pistols or else :D
