Is infinity blade a trap?

I am having a lot of trouble figuring out how to make this thing work. Here are my main problems, i am not sure if i should be scaling this as a spell or melee in the passive tree.

My build so far is as follows: Health oriented, with dodge for defence. Turn illusion blade to shadow, use plaguebringer to spread ailments, but i feel like it will fall on its face come end game.

And advice would be appreciated.

Ignore wisdom, its not optimal for Aether builds. Go ferocity 6 and Toughness 4. The aspd is not that important. If you insist, focus only on spell speed and not attack.

Going Agi will let you starve, you will be spending more willpower than the transfer rate to a point where you will have to use the base attack. The point is keeping the most time using the blades. Also, aether blades have a mod that gives you willpower on crit and on kill

Gear

One handed and catalist.
Crit damage rings
Crit Chance Belt

Full heavy

Go Soldier
Get Wild card (+60%crit chace)
Get attack damage and not Melee/Weapon Attack

Go Warlock
Get all the energy reductions and willpower regeneration ignore force shields
Get Leech
Get Duty do Exterminate and adjacent dots (+400 rage and willpower)

Go Time Weaver
Get all the aether/ocult damage
Get Wich Time Cannot heal (100% damage after 1.5 se c if the enemy is on stasis)

Go Trinity
Get Elementary Desistabilization (when low on willpower may explode on aoe and recoverying 20%).

After core build work after occult damage %, spell damage % and % willpower cost reduction.

Skills - Aether blades - Aether Jump - Winter Grasp/Juggernaut - Eclipse- Wrath of baopheth/Bladestorm



Gameplay


Use aether jump (moded) or/and Eclipse to inflict stasis to double your damage.
Use aether jump to refill Willpower
Use Wrath of Baopheth/Bladestorm to quick to recover willpower
Use Eclipse to Stun
Use Juggernaut to Face Tank or survive one shots on bosses

did practically the above by accident... combos REALLY well with wrath of baopheth to dump rage - mind you want to lower the lockout time on resource transfer to speed it up.
