All the bosses are annoying as ♥♥♥♥.
And i say that as someone who already finished the main story.
Had zero fun in any of those act boss fights, they are just tedious and badly designed unless you are one of the specific builds they are tailored to.
Then they are a cakewalk.

yeah, I'll have to agree that the Chapter bosses are pretty poorly designed as far as tankiness/damage goes. The concept of them is great, but the requirements for actually beating them is so absurd that there's literally 1-2 builds you have to use to fight them or nothing at all. I still cant beat Lambach

Just put the game down to "story mode" difficulty on the main screen. Then kill Lambach and set it back to "normal" afterwards.
I played a pretty squishy dual pistol build with high DPS/Crit but got constantly one hitted in those boss fights on "normal".
They are still not super easy on story mode but doable.

Zero regrets.

Yeah, I see the mechanics of Lambach being interesting, but it went on way too long for my somewhat squishy pistol character. And then it was just tedious - then I got one-shotted by something - maybe the AoE ? I'm not sure. And I didn't have enough stamina to dodge that much for that long. Which is bad mechanics. I almost liked it. And as others have mentioned - the difficulty scaling is really off - regular content vs. Bosses. I think I'll play something else while these poor guys release a few patches then I'll come back. But no refund - it's decent and they should survive long enough to patch it a few times :) Good luck team Wolcen! I'm cheering for 'ya. :B1:

Wait till you get to the act 3 boss^^. 3 Phases and in every phase there is a high chance if you want to dodge roll his attacks you fall through the floor and have to start over.

After my first playthrough of the story, I started a second character using staff as weapon to see if I apply everything i learned in my first playthrough, things would be easier. So i went with aether damage time and without the help of any unique weapon that I got from first playthrough. Average Damage on annihilation is 734 at the time, and in the second phase lambach didnt even get chance to turn invulnerable before I killed her with only annihilation and anomaly to her face.

I think it's just the matter of player's knowledge about the game. On first time going through the story people barely had any sense of what gears their character really need and how stats are meant to be allocated also factor in other aspects of the game which are incredibly forgiving compared to cheaper bosses. But I think people will get better eventually when their knowledge catches up.
I thought lambach was much easier than edric. Probably due to the fact my skills are lot more developed then in act 1. even though I was on my last revive, I used the tear (ice rain modifier) and anomaly (bigger and continuous pulling) to deal lots of damage and deal with the adds fairly quickly while still doing damage to the boss.
if anything else, I used the big form as a panic button to protect myself and turn back when needed.

Yeah this phase has an extremely poorly designed attack pattern.

It has this huge AOE that instakills any squishy caught in it that you avoid by standing in a circle, but it can also at the same time plant landmines that also oneshot you inside this circle while also spawning mobs.

Only way i found to deal with it was to use my ascension to survive those moments and slowly wear this big bugger down in the meanwhile.

Then it was not so bad, but by the time i finally got him down i was out of ascension power and hells it was close.

And this with a build that pretty much instagibbed any elite or special mob i found along the way while also clearing the first phase in like 2 minutes.
