Just wanted to point out the parasite spell's effect on some enemies
Namely elite (blue and yellow) enemies, and perhaps more importantly enemies that cast spells or summon units.

You can use the parasite spell to turn any enemy other than bosses into PERMANENT followers that stay with you until you lose access to the parasite skill or they die. They will follow you EVERYWHERE and use all the abilities they could before you turned them, including unique attacks gained from elite modifiers.

Enemies that summon followers of their own will still do this when they are dominated by you. But perhaps more curiously - enemies that channel abilities (such as tormentors, who can use a draining channel on the player) use their draining channel on ALL enemies in front of them. They're extremely tanky wave clearing machines that can easily carry you through the entirety of the necropolis.

Just found this fascinating. Never imagined the game would actually let you dominate minibosses, but it does.

Unfortunately, you do not get to see the health bars of the enemies you dominate. The spell is also bugged, allowing you to cast it on allies (and quite possibly players) to heal them using your own health, even if you haven't actually unlocked or enabled the modifier that's supposed to let you do this.

By bosses you mean anything that has a break bar.
So far as highest tier monster goes I managed to capture Augustea, The Doomgazer (Spider pet from the Mercy). Colors don't matter, as long it doesn't have a break bar. Maybe there are exceptions with some smaller beasts that for some reason have break bars while their masters not.

Also you can have two parasite summons if you cast it on the weakest tier enemies.

I also wanted to know who this parasite spell actually works.
I had on the previous map 3 widlings after parasiting a yellow seer all of them died.

So how many can i actually parasite and transform into undead minions of which tier?

To use the republic army for reference - i could dominate 1 railgunner or 2 of the other infantry types. However, when dominating weak enemies like the slow (or fast) basic zombies, tiny flying blue things in caves or rats, you can dominate three at a time!
