Why play online?

Are there any benefits to playing this online instead of offline if you are a social recluse?

Easier game, Able to do the harder levels of excavations, trading, not dying if u dont have any revives left, strategic values etc

Perhaps they'll add some online-benefits later on? Like ladder-items/league stuff?

He explained it up top.. Although he did add that Offline files are locally stored.. which means theres a good chance if u uninstall or wipe ur computer you'll lose your progress.. you can play the whole campaign act 1-3 offline, online isnt needed at all unless u want trading.. and its very helpful if u need some1 to help u in a boss file, you cannot use 1 character for both offline and online they're seperate character rosters, After campaign is done the game's endless content starts getting harder, thats advised to be played multiplayer on higher difficulties.. theres no reason not to play online as you need it to have ur save sync'd, playing online is naturally single player regardless unless u invite somebody to your game.

Offline being included is a great thing for people who don't have the best internet connections and didn't plan on multiplayer anyway.

The reason to play online is that if you change your mind about wanting to try some MP later, you'll have a character ready to go.

your cpu might need an upgrade i saw your main post
