New Character - no Gold sharing - Why ....?

I just tried a new character and thought i could buy him items with the gold i already have - just to find out that gold is not shared and cant be shared.

Why would they not include such a basic easy to implement feature? Next someone probably tells me color unlocks are per character ...

Its like they are trying to make weird design decisions - like not beeing able to turn "always show names of dropped items" on.

Afaik colors are shared but if gold isn't that's yet another big th0nk.

Why would you expect to share gold between characters? Just because you could in Diablo?

I don't know if you noticed, but this isn't Diablo. Gold is so easy to get it almost has no value. I'm not sure why you are complaining.

Was hard to distuingish it from Diablo, since it copied even the dodgy launch.

The game is actually design that you basically only need 1 character. Will you have more in the future if/when ladder arrives, who knows. But you don't even need a 2nd chracter in the first place

Just because Diablo 3 did it, it's not a basic feature.
Isn't that enough of a "help" that you don't even need to create a new character if you want a different build? You can any time just respec.

Some people prefer having each character stand on their own.
It should be a togglable option, but then again, that would propably interfere with online play.

Sorry but thats just wrong - the game is clearly not desigend for that ...

- you cant save any skillpoint/skills sets so you would have to do every switch by hand ...
- every respec costs quite a lot - if you want to switch like ppl usually do between classes this would be pretty expensive
- you cant change appearance of a character

Also from what i can remember most ARPGs have Gold sharing if there is a shared stash ...

Even that isnt really an argument since we already have a shared stash.
The problem could be solved easily - you can put gold in your shared stash like you do with items - ppl woh dont want it dont use it - problem solved.

I can even now transfer gold - for example by buying stuff and selling it with the other char - but its pretty inefficient.








Its amazing how every design decision of this devs is defended - some people will probably even defend that they removed eyes, hairstyles and beards ...
Why is it that whenever someone writes about stuff that would be nice or seems to be missing someone feels the need to defend the dev as if its their familiy beeing attacked?

respecing is super cheap sell duplicate skills you pick up during the game ;)

look face music you may like gold sharing the devs dont move on, gold sharing online mode would also make it super easy for gold sellers to sell gold from a character then delete that character

I want gold sharing between my characters - what benefit would beeing able to share gold between characters one one account have for gold sellers?

It's convenient because you don't have to waste time farming for gold any time you start a new character. Your comment makes no sense.

Why do you want to transfer gold? I much prefer to drop and bunch of items and skills in the stash for the new character.

It's a basic feature of pretty much every ARPG that came after diablo 2. Mule characters and drop trades were not fun, *most* developers learned from that.
