Summoner Build [Help]

I am trying to build a summoner and I just can go past Act 1 Final Boss.

Either Summons are weak or I am doing something wrong. Is guides the way to go (a common POE problem)

No , summons are ♥♥♥♥ , don't bother with a summoner build.


Just put points into ferocity and run bleeding edge until your face melts.

That is , if you can get to the point where you can get the build complete without having your save reset.

Yeah it seems game isn't balanced. Anyways what about the Rail Gun build ?

I already have. Now I'll try a bow Build. Any suggestions ?

Use the golem to tank and do damage with spells.

What about the bow zombie and Melee zombie ?

I'm feeling quite comfy with my golem and archers by my side. Gotta pick up the melees at some point when servers are back online.

Use the mod to turn the archers into mages.

What level is your character ? Have you beaten the first boss ?

Yep. Kite and cast, spam golem skill for the taunt and whatever spell you want for personal damage.

i had the same problem as summoner.. the zombies are too weak.
i tried the boss 10-15 times with different skills and different zombie mods.
then.. i changed the difficulty to story mode to be able to beat him

this guy does a lot of poe builds. not sure if his guide and tips will be useful to you but its only 15 minutes.

i dont think his skill is lvl 27 in act 1


i wanted play summoner too but had to change into dot mage.

in offline mode i downloaded a lvl 90 character to try summoner at higher lvls but i dont get how it works. ( my golem has 1.700.000 life and zombies have 44k life , not sure if this is right )

have to test summoner later when i can play online
