It’s not rocket science.
basically it helps you start spinning faster but it wont make your spin tick faster.
that's how it felt to me.
was so sad about it that i stopped using bladestorm :)
thank you! :D thats what i've noticed too
Same for me. No increase in tick rate once the skill is going.
I even tried modifying the node that reduces tick speed, which is set at 0.75 in the file, to various other numbers like 2.0, 5.0, 10.0, etc. This is supposed to be a multiplier on the initial BaseTickRate. Again, the FIRST hit is affected, but none of the others are. I have turned on floating damage text, and when I first spin up, I see a WALL of damage hit the target, but after that, it's just the normal 1-2 tick rate damage numbers.
If I crank the node up to 200.0, the TICK RATE stays the same, 1-2 per second, but the DAMAGE it deals is insane. 400k+ on normal damage. You can still hear the normal tick rate happening, just obscene amounts of damage.
I'm testing this by using Cheat Engine to make one monster invulnerable and then just going full ham on him with BS, btw.
